Overview:
Each Video Editor is responsible for editing complete podcast episodes, integrating video, audio, and graphics to create a polished final product. This role requires experience with long-form content editing.
Responsibilities:
- Episode Editing: Edit entire podcast episodes, synchronizing audio and video, cutting unnecessary segments, and ensuring smooth transitions.
- Graphics & Subtitle Integration: Collaborate with the graphics team to incorporate necessary visuals, subtitles, or branding elements into the episodes.
- Quality Control & Revision: Ensure that each episode meets quality standards and is aligned with the brand’s visual style, revising based on feedback from producers or stakeholders.
- File Export & Organization: Export finalized episodes in the appropriate format and organize files for efficient retrieval by the distribution team.
Working Hours:
Approximately 25 hours per month, based on editing deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
- Experience with long-form video editing, especially in media production.
- Strong sense of storytelling and pacing.
