Goge Africa Festival brings residents and tourists from all over the world together to celebrate our cultural diversity by showcasing the unique cultures of the different nationalities represented in our community.
The Ultimate Festival Experience: GOGE AFRICA FESTIVAL
Goge Africa is holding a festival and exhibition event to celebrate 25 years of our contributions and growth in the culture, art, tourism, and creative sectors. The main events of the Goge Africa Festival are scheduled for October 26th & 27th, 2024, at Mobolaji Johnson Stadium (Onikan), Lagos Island.
Building on the success of our most recent star-studded event, #FOGA, this festival is expected to attract over 20,000 attendees, including VIPs, international tourists, business owners, creatives, and residents, reaching over 100 million individuals both online and offline, within and outside Africa.
The week-long activities are scheduled for October 2024, featuring 7 days of events within Lagos (October 21st to 27th) and a grand 2-day celebration on the 26th & 27th. The festival will be packed with entertainment, cultural displays, a mega trade fair, a friendly celebrity football match between Tourism/Nollywood stars and Nigerian Customs/Immigration Service, a fashion parade, bikers’ displays, cooking competitions showcasing cultures from all over the world, dance performances, comedy shows, and a music concert.
The Goge Africa 25th Anniversary will conclude with a conference and awards evening.

GOGE AT 25 FESTIVAL
A fun event designed to bring together residents of Lagos and tourists from all over the world to celebrate our cultural diversity. The festival will showcase the cultures of various nationalities represented in our community.
This vibrant event will attract a diverse audience, including families from over 30 different nationalities living in the community. Attendees can look forward to a program featuring culture, music, comedy, ethnic cuisine, fashion, and arts.

Exhibition:
There will be exhibitions from vendors, communities, and countries showcasing beautiful artworks, crafts, and the mosaic of world cultures, including food, fashion, and incredible travel destinations.
Participants and attendees will be drawn from one of the most diverse communities, including nationals from Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Cameroon, Egypt, South Africa, the USA, the UK, Germany, France, China, Switzerland, Greece, Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey, India, the Netherlands, Senegal, Jamaica, and more.

Culture
Sharing traditional Indigenous culture with family, friends, and visitors to the community lies at the heart of GOGE AT 25. During the event, there will be cultural performances that revive storytelling, customs, and skills.
The audience will also be engaged with a variety of multi-cultural exhibitions, including a fashion contest, a food contest, and a tent decorating contest, all of which enthrall and entertain with rich and colorful cultural diversity. The theme for the main parade is Unity.

Music
Internationally acclaimed musicians and emerging artists from within and outside the continent will perform together at the exhibition on Day 1 and at the Afrobeats Concert on Day 2. The event will also treat its audiences to folklore, tribal, and live band musical performances on the center stage.
