Overview:
The Social Media Content Editor will produce and edit engaging visual content for social media platforms, focusing on short-form video edits that capture attention and align with brand messaging.
Responsibilities:
- Video Editing for Social Media: Edit videos tailored to different social media platforms, maintaining a fast-paced, engaging style suited to audience preferences on each platform.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure that each edit adheres to Goge Africa’s brand guidelines and visual standards.
- Collaboration with Social Media Managers: Coordinate closely with social media managers to understand content requirements, themes, and upcoming campaigns.
- Post-Production Adjustments: Make revisions as necessary, including sound design, color correction, and integrating graphics and/or subtitles.
- File Management: Organize and maintain a structured library of social media content, project files, and assets for future use.
Working Hours:
Approximately 15 hours per week, with flexibility to meet posting schedules and accommodate last-minute edits.
Qualifications:
- Experience in video editing, particularly for social media (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Portfolio showcasing past social media video work.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality edits efficiently.
