Overview:
This Social Media Manager will manage Goge Africa’s presence on YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, and the website. They will focus on content creation, platform-specific engagement strategies, and building an online community that aligns with the brand’s values & objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy Development: Plan, create, and schedule unique content across YouTube, TikTok, and Twitter. Use a variety of formats such as videos, GIFs, and images to engage audiences and build the Goge Africa brand.
- Engagement & Community Building: Actively engage with followers through comments, replies, and direct messages, creating a positive and interactive online community.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyse engagement metrics (likes, shares, comments, view times) to assess the performance of content and adjust strategies to improve reach and engagement.
- Platform-Specific Trends & Adaptations: Stay informed about current trends, algorithm changes, and content practices on each platform to ensure maximum visibility and relevance.
- Website Integration: Coordinate with website management to integrate social media content, ensuring that updates and links reflect the latest campaigns and content.
Working Hours:
Approximately 30 hours per week, with some flexibility to cover peak engagement times, including weekends or evenings if needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience managing WordPress, YouTube, TikTok, and Twitter for a brand.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools and platform algorithms.
- Strong writing and visual storytelling skills.
