Overview:
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all stages of the podcast project, from pre-production to distribution, ensuring seamless coordination across all teams and resources. This role requires experience in media, project management, strong organizational skills, and the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop a comprehensive project timeline that includes all production phases, deadlines, and team responsibilities. Coordinate with all departments to ensure a smooth workflow and adherence to deadlines.
- Budget Management: Establish and manage project budgets, monitoring expenditures across departments, and approving costs. Make adjustments as needed to stay within financial limits.
- Team Coordination & Supervision: Act as the main point of contact between the creative, technical, and marketing teams to streamline communication, facilitate task assignments, and address project roadblocks.
- Quality Control: Perform regular quality checks throughout each production phase to maintain a high standard of content. Resolve any quality issues that may arise.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide weekly reports and updates to key stakeholders, including progress, budget status, and any potential challenges or delays. Adapt project plans based on stakeholder feedback.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks to the project, develop contingency plans, and implement risk management strategies to prevent disruptions.
Working Hours:
Full-time, 40 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate production schedules, including occasional evenings or weekends as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Media Production, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in managing media projects, including budget oversight.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency with ERP, CRM & project management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with multiple departments.
